Just a quick email about a brake caliper I ordered for my SD900, that I am slowly doing up. I received the item yesterday and it is in perfect "as described" condition.

Thanks for your quick advice and service. I posted my problem on the Bevelheads forum and about 15 minutes later I had an answer from you. You were able to sell me a part to solve my problem, a part that I didn't think would be available anymore. The part was an upper bevel set for a 900ss. The part was not cheap, but I decided it was going to be a lot more economical than the machine shop repair I had in mind before knowing I could just buy the parts.

Luckily when I went to pay using my Paypal account I found out I had a credit there for some stuff I had sold and never taken the money out of my Paypal account.

I had never heard of this part failing before, but I have been advised now that Mike Hailwood broke his at the very end of his famous victory in 1978. I don't think my bike has ever been used as hard as that one although it has suffered abuse.

It is great that parts are still available to keep these bikes on the road. I have ridden lots of bikes there is nothing that quite replaces the bevel experience.

They fit well so I'll be making a lot of miles within the speed limits again. Or at least intentionally above the speed limit.

I received my parts from you today and can’t wait to fit them. Supplied very quickly thank you very much. With these new pads with my gold line calipers on my cast iron discs I now hope to have a much better front braking than the old standard brakes that have been there since time began. I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for all the information on your website. I saw the note on the oil filter washer, and decided to purchase one along with the other items that I ordered. As it turned out, my 1982 900SS was missing this item – although it did have the correct oil filter. The bike only has 3500 miles, so I hope no damage. I would never have known about this without your efforts. So thanks again.

Sprockets/chain and closing rocker all received. The 520 conversion fits perfectly; once again thanks for your help with sorting this out. Apart from looking great there is also a 1.25 kg weight saving over the 530 set up.

A few months ago I got you to organize the land transport for my 750 GT from a Virginia address. At the time you asked me to let you know how things went with the delivery. I had to postpone shipping by a month because I was overseas but am happy to report that the bike arrived safely with all extra items secured to the bike with nothing missing. They always arrive a bit dusty but after a bit of a polish , fuel and battery charge , the GT fired up and I have enjoyed some nice rides. I plan on doing some minor resto work to her and see how things go.

Thank you for your service on your part , I will recommend you to anyone who needs that service. I'll let you know when I need some more parts for the collection.
