Last night I went and cleaned the gas cap on my bike as you suggested and took it for a short ride. It seems like it works now. I will take it for a longer ride on Saturday and see if that was the actual cause of the problems.

I just got back from zipping around my favorite back roads for the second day in a row and my brakes work great. No leaks, fading, or anything. My brakes are all new except some day I will have to rebuild my front calipers. I am probably safe in guessing that there is no rebuild kits for the front calipers on a 907ie, are there? But they are not leaking or anything. I'm just planning ahead. Anything can fail at any time on a 23 year old bike. But everything works today and I really love that ol' Duc. It's the best handling, smoothest running and best sounding bike I have ever ridden.
