This is a 1974 Ducati bevel drive 750 Sport that was raced back in the day & then put away wet and ignored for decades. The owner was ready to get her back out into the sunshine and brought it over to me for a full nut & bolt restoration. I have literally restored everything on this bike, please look at these photos to see how it was brought to me and where I ended up. I hope you enjoy it.
Getting a 50 year old motorcycle to look and ride like or better than new is a daunting task for sure and, I couldn't do it without having the best people helping me. David at The Zen House has fully rebuilt he motor. Ginger at Kiss My Glass repainted all bodywork and chassis. I disassembled blasted, polished and installed bearings in the hubs and sent the wheels off to Buchanan. All chrome work done at West Coast Chrome. Superior Auto Upholstery made a new seat cover and it looks PERFECT. PA Speedo restored the gauges. All fasteners, spacers, axles etc etc got zinc plated. I installed a DynaTek digital ignition & coils, new wire harness, new JOD Duplo headlight, Aprilia switch, ignition switch & AGM battery. Early leading axle Marzocchi forks & triple clamps restored with new texture paint and WORX fork spring kit, new BITUBO shocks with early SS type rubber caps on top. Basically, a completely new motorcycle rebuilt to my customer's spec.
You might notice 2 different gas tanks here.... Yes. Evan Wilcox built an IMOLA inspired tank to fit this Sport so the owner now has choices. Finished early in 2026 this project took me about a year to complete and the owner has been and will continue to go on long rides on the bike....
