The slides that Dellorto sells now only fit their new style carbs (PHF & PHM carbs). To make them fit your old style carbs the insides of BOTH idle screw ramps need to be machined. After doing so, the idle screw SPRING must be trimmed and most of the time, the idle screws themselves must be replaced.
How do you know if you have OLD STYLE or NEW STYLE carbs? Easy. Pull your slide out and look down in the bore. At the bottom if the raised area is ROUND then you have the old style carb bodies. If there are 2 flat notches in that raised round platform 180 degrees from eachother then you have the new style bodies.
I can machine your new slide/s for you. Send me your CLEAN carb bodies PLUS your idle screws, idle screw springs, idle screw washers and the old orings that were on them. I will handle it from there.
