This is a 1974 Ducati bevel drive 750 GT that was sent to Bevel Heaven in 2024 to rescue and finish up what had been started, giving it the "Steve Allen Touch". We have literally restored everything on this bike, please look at these photos to see how it was brought to us and where we ended up. We hope you enjoy it.
The owner had repainted the chassis, tank & fenders a couple decades ago and it sat in his garage since. There were no side covers and none could be found during the course of this project which took about 6 months. The motor was pulled and after disassembly determined that even though the crank was in great shape, the rest of the motor needed a rebuild. Check out how corroded the engine covers were and how shiny we got them after rebuild. The chassis was fully rebuilt, a new wire harness created from scratch and DynaTek ignition installed. Wheels fully rebuilt after blast and polishing the hubs and rims. New bearings, 520 chain and sprockets, swapped out the Scarab brakes for all Brembo, mounted a Brembo hose manifold to the lower triple clamp and installed new rotors and custom SS brake hoses. A Bevel Heaven Case Saver as well as our hydraulic clutch conversion kit were installed, carbs restored, seat rebuilt with a new cover, all chrome bits re chromed and lots of new fasteners installed throughout the project. Triple clamps and fork lowers polished before rebuilding with the addition of our dual rate fork spring kit.
