This is a beautiful reproduction of the APRILIA fuse box found on round case bevel drive Ducati. There are different colors that were originally made, as well as multiple hole cut outs and 2 different width of covers. It seems the later ones were a bit wider to accomodate wires better. Sun, heat etc affects the present color of the originals, but looking at many of them we came up with 2 different color options - putty and an olive color. The maker had no luck making the wood grain type so gave up. If this is what you need perhaps a talented airbrush artist can have a go on one of these.
The 'olive' color was mostly on 750SS but we have seen on a few 750 Sports as well. The lighter color is an off white 'putty' color that is usually found on 750 GT but we have seen on the other 2 models.
This is the so called 'later type' which is wider that the 'early type' in order to allow more room for the wires to exit the fusebox base, as you see above. It is precisely the same as the OEM item and mounts the same on all fuse boxes. The cut out on the side is for wire routing.
You can order the olive or putty colors, This is the PUTTY colored lid option complete fusebox.
The complete APRILIA fuse box is Ducati #0795.38.246 (079538246). The 750SS/900SS Desmo catalog lists the lid alone as 0795.38.243 (079538243).
This lid measures 166mm long and 74mm wide (outside).
