This is a 1974 Ducati bevel drive 750 Sport that was raced back in the day & then put away wet and ignored for decades. The owner was ready to get her back out into the sunshine and brought it over to Bevel Heaven for a full and comprehensive total restoration. We have literally restored everything on this bike, please look at these photos to see how it was brought to us and where we ended up. We hope you enjoy it.
Getting a 50 year old motorcycle to look and ride like or better than new is a daunting task for sure and, it couldn't have been done without the best people helping out. The motor required a complete teardown and rebuild including the crank. The chassis and all bodywork required repaint including the very specialized and unique textured paint on the triple clamps and fork lowers. The wheels were a mess so they got disassembled, blasted, polished and new bearings installed in the hubs & sprocket carrier. The Borrani rims got polished and the wheels got laced up with stainless steel spokes. The final step was installing new AVON RoadRider tires. A new seat cover was made and looks PERFECT. The gauges were dented up so they were both restored. All fasteners, spacers, axles etc got zinc plated & all chrome parts re-chromed as well. A DynaTek digital ignition & coils, new wire harness, new JOD Duplo headlight, Aprilia switch, ignition switch & AGM battery were also installed. Early leading axle Marzocchi forks & triple clamps restored adding our WORX dual rate fork spring kit, new BITUBO shocks with early SS type rubber caps on top for suspension. Basically, a completely new motorcycle (re)built to my customer's spec.
You might notice 2 different gas tanks here in the photos.... Yes, we had the original tank painted along with getting an IMOLA inspired tank custom made to fit this Sport. The owner has 2 different interchangeable gas tanks to choose from now depending on his mood. Bevel Heaven finished this restoration early in 2026 and took about a year to complete. The owner has been and will continue to enjoy going on long rides on the bike for years to come....
