Front Sprockets
Ducati front sprockets.... We have a lot of different ones here...........
Singles use 530 chain size on 450cc and 428 chain size on 250/350cc. The 428 chains of today at 5 times stronger than 530 chains from 40 years ago so why put a heavy 530 on a single? Get a 428 setup...
Bevel drive twins all came with 530 chain size 15 or 16 tooth front sprockets with various rear sprocket teeth. We stock all of the above of course along with various 36-40 tooth rear sprockets to suit. We have steel sprockets for cheap, then 3 diferent versions of alloy rear sprockets - bare aluminum, polished aluminum and hard anodized 'Titan Tough' aluminum. The Titan Tough is an almost black color that will let your alloy sprocket wear like a steel one. We highly recommend this setup.
We also stock 520 front & rear sprockets along with various 520 chains for bevel twins for those of you what are insterested in weight savings... The 520 chains we stock are more than strong enough for whatever kind of HP your bevel twin puts out. Yes they cost more but there is a pretty good weight savings so it is like cheap horse power.
For modern Ducati, we stock lots of different offset sprockets in 520, 525 and 530. Pantah and newer Ducati have 2 different splines we refer to as FINE or COURSE........ It's very obvious which you have, just compare to the pictures. We have the offset of each sprocket listed in the details.Â
